Roll the wide cuff and you have a 27" ankle length that puts whatever's on your feet on full display. Leave it down and it's a 30" full length. Same pair, two genuinely different looks, and you get to decide on the way out the door.

"Girlfriend" is the fit that sits between a boyfriend and a slim, and it's the one most people actually want. Relaxed enough through the hip and thigh that you're not fighting it all day, narrow enough at the hem — 13½" — that it never tips into sloppy. Room to move without the volume.

The 10" mid rise sits just below the natural waist, which is the comfortable place to be when you're sitting down for most of the day. Works tucked, works untucked, doesn't dig.

A fifth of the fabric is lyocell, and that's why these feel softer than a jean this structured has any right to. Classic five-pocket, zip fly with a single button, and real belt loops on a set-in waistband.

How it's meant to fit: A girlfriend fit — relaxed through the hip and thigh, but narrower through the leg than a boyfriend jean. The mid rise sits just below the natural waist.

On length: Cuffed, the 27" inseam hits at the ankle. Uncuffed, the 30" is a full length. Our model is 5'9", so on a shorter frame the uncuffed version will break at the shoe.
